The medium stealth growing chamber is the long awaited big brother to the extremely popular mini stealth grow chamber. This unit is based on a similar design, but features upgraded standard equipment for advanced growers. A 1000w air cooled tube light is now standard. Also grow room has been increased to approx 6 feet of vertical grow space total! Now included is dual grow chambers, and cutting edge ultrasonic fogging technology! For power growers a co2 system for 40% yield increases is now also standard equipment!

This grow box uses the most powerful light currently available -- a 1000w high pressure sodium HID lamp. Air cooled, this system is capable of putting out tens of thousands of lumens, of intense red light without heat issues! The air within the cool tube, is kept isolated from your plant's atmosphere, and continuously exhausted by a dedicated, high powered cooling fan.

This bad boy is further enhanced by the optional inclusion of a cutting edge ultrasonic fogging unit, suspended almost weightless, in your hydroponic reservoir. A thick fog of nutrients is emitted, for effortless absorption by your plant's root system. This results in extremely fast and unparalleled plant growth!

The icing on the cake is the inclusion of a co2 kit now standard in this unit. Your plants will store up energy internally due to the enormous light, and abundance of nutrients they receive. But, without boosted co2, your plants can not use this energy. We solve the problem by economically bumping that co2 level up to 1500 PPM, which is ideal for increased plant growth. But wait, there's more. When your plants get thick and bushy, after a month or so of growing, the lower leaves suffer due to less light penetration through the canopy. Maximum light without the heat. Your 1000w HPS bulb is housed in a heat proof A\C reflector for maximum light reflection onto your garden. The air in the reflector is always isolated from your plants air. A fan constantly exhales the heated air inside the reflector, leaving the glass just warm to the touch. Plants can actually make contact w/ the glass and not burn. However, we still recommend that you train your plants to only come within a few inches. General Hydroponics pH Test Kits make pH testing easy. Simply fill a test-tube halfway with nutrient, add a few drops of pH Test Indicator, and observe the coloration of the liquid in the test vial. Many experienced growers prefer our pH Test Kit to expensive electronic meters because of its reliability and ease of use, which are important factors when the health of a valuable crop is at stake. Use 3 drops per 5mL of solution.

To maximize plant growth, the pH of your nutrients should be slightly acidic. Experienced growers consider the ideal pH for most crops to fall between 5.5 and 6.5. Users of General Hydroponics nutrient products generally do not experience problems maintaining the proper pH range because their formulas are pH buffered. However, some important exceptions do exist. Acid content can reach unacceptable levels when nutrient solutions are mixed with poor quality water, or when high plant growth rates destabilize the nutrient mix due to rapid nutrient absorption by the crop.

This unit is shipped with a Co2 system with some benefits...

Carbon Dioxide Enrichment will dramatically increase the growth of green plants. Green plants use carbon dioxide ( CO2 ) and water in the presence of light to synthesize organic compounds. The plant then converts these organic compounds into elements that it can use (food). This process is called photosynthesis. If any of these ingredients ( CO2, water or light ) are at levels below what the plant can use for maximum efficiency, it will only be able to perform at that level and no greater. Adding carbon dioxide to a growing environment that is not receiving proper nutrients or is low on light will not produce the desired results. Similarly, plants that are receiving plenty of sunshine and nutrients will only perform as well as the ambient level of CO2 will allow. The ambient level of CO2 in the earth's atmosphere is generally between 300 and 600 ppm. Most plants receive far more water and energy in the form of sunshine than they can use. Increasing the CO2 in the growing area will let the plant use the excess water and energy that is stored in the leaves. The result is a substantial increase in the growth rate of any plant that uses chlorophyll in the process of photosynthesis. Enrichment should commence at sunrise or when photoperiod begins and refrain during darkness hours. The average CO2 level that is recommended is 1000 to 2000 parts per million (PPM).

The included timer can be used to set the intervals that the co2 will be released at, and it allows you to turn off c02 during the "night" period, when it is not needed.

Ships with Backlit Digital Temperature and Humidity Meter!!

Featured on the outside of the stainless steel doors is a digital thermometer \ clock, which displays both the internal and external temperature. From a distance, you can measure the temperature constantly, and is even backlit for night viewing. A large digital clock display is also present for convenience. An alarm can be set when certain temperatures are reached, or set to go off at a specific time of day.

The best part is the internal temperate can be constantly monitored without opening the dual hinged doors. The included digital thermometer also includes a build in humidity read-out, for easily monitoring the internal humidity of your growing chamber.

An Ultrasonic fogger / hydroponic fogger operates by oscillating at a frequency of approximately 2 MHZ which is two million vibrations per second. At this frequency, water is nebulized into a cold fog / dry fog which can support the needs of plants using an ultra low volume of water and nutrients.

A benefit of our Ultrasonic fogger is that it generates extremely small micro droplets that averages only 4 microns, which is small enough to be absorbed by roots and leaves on contact, which is why it can be effective using only an ultra low volume of solution. In fact, most growers report optimal results with only half the concentration of nutrient solution they've used in the past!

Ultrasonic foggers will also sterilize your nutrient solution so adding live bacterial cultures will serve no purpose since the fogger is already sterilizing your solution for you.

Dual Use: The ultrasonic fogger can be removed from the hydroponic system, and used "above ground" in your vegetating chamber to increase humidity for leaves of starting plants!! This helps to get plants started during the initial rooting process.
